The Children and Business Network Nigeria (CBNG) will be holding its 1st Annual CEO Forum on Children’s Rights and the Business Sector on May 30, 2013 at the Wheatbaker Hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos. The event, an invitation –only event, is a landmark forum on Children’s Rights and the Business Sector in Nigeria.
The CBNG, an advocacy platform to engage the private sector to make a serious commitment to support Children’s Rights through their HR Practices and CSR Targets, was founded in 2013 by Ms Toyin Olakanpo– a seasoned lawyer, child rights advocate and global education consultant.
The target audience for the Forum will include CEOs/MDs, HR, CSR and Marketing Executives of a cross section of business sectors; Financial Services; Automotive; Telecoms; Oil & Gas; Manufacturing; Food & Beverages and Pharmaceuticals; and NGOs with interests in Child Rights
The focus of the Forum will be:
His Excellency Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, Executive Governor of Lagos State will give the Keynote Address, while the Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Mrs Sola Oworu will give the Opening Address at the event.
